What Wrap is
Wrap is a personal privacy tool made by Guardian. It helps you replace personal details in text before you send that text to an AI service, and restore them afterwards. Wrap is not a compliance product and does not make any AI service compliant with any regulation.
Using Wrap Web
Wrap Web runs in your browser. You don't need an account. You are responsible for the text you paste, for reviewing what Wrap found before you send it, and for how you use any answer you get back.
No detection guarantee
No tool catches everything. Wrap shows you what it found so you can add anything it missed. We provide Wrap as-is, without a warranty that it will detect every piece of personal information.
Your content
We never receive what you wrap. Your text, detections and restore maps stay on your device, so we can't access, restore or recover them for you.
Purchases and licenses
When purchases open, a lifetime license covers up to 3 Macs for one person, includes updates, and is not transferable. Refund terms are on the Refunds page.
Acceptable use
Don't use Wrap to break the law, to impersonate someone, or to work around another service's rules. We may stop providing the service to anyone who does.
Changes
We may update these terms as Wrap grows. Material changes will be noted on this page. Questions: hello@example.com.
