Privacy

Short version: what you wrap never leaves your device, and we have no way to read it.

What we never collect

  • Anything you type, paste or drop into Wrap.
  • Your restore maps (the link between your real details and their stand-ins).
  • Your My Info dictionary, rules and settings.

What stays on your device

  • Restore maps, encrypted in your browser's local storage.
  • Your settings and protection level.
  • Your local counts (how many details you've protected).

What we collect if you join the waitlist or buy

  • Your email address and the platform you're waiting for.
  • Your referral code and referral count.
  • Later, when purchases open: purchase and license records.

Who else is involved

  • Our hosting provider, which serves this website.
  • Later, a payment processor for purchases. It never receives anything you wrap.

Honest caveats

  • Browser extensions you install can read web pages, including this one. For maximum protection use Wrap for Mac or a clean browser profile.
  • On a shared computer, set a passcode in Wrap so your sessions lock.
  • No tool catches everything. Wrap shows you what it found so you can decide.

Verify it yourself

  1. 1Open Wrap Web at /app in a new tab.
  2. 2Open your browser's developer tools and switch to the Network tab.
  3. 3Clear the request list, then paste something with your real details and wrap it.
  4. 4Look through every request. None of them contain your text, your detections or your restore map.
  5. 5Turn off your network entirely and wrap again. It still works.
